I actually wanted to majoring in language and literature. But it was. My parents didn’t really keen with my choice so they told me to be an engineer instead.
They thought that being an engineer would allow you to find easier job thus securing your future rather than being a Linguist. So I took Petroleum Engineering, Until, I finally graduated and get involved in several oil and gas project. Hey, at least the pay is good.
So, I make my own money and I spent my time to learn French, Japanese, and Mandarin in language centre. I feel so refreshed. I might not be an expert in linguistic but at least I can do the things that I loved even though I'm an engineer. I even made friends from there which led me to met people who had made a great impact in my life and brought me to what I am now.
When I look back now, I should say "Thanks" to my heart. Because he never wrong to lead me to be brave and find my ‘SOUL’.
